Hi. My name is Jonas.

I live in a small country named Denmark.

I am a huge fan of cartoons (all sorts. western to anime). In my sparetime I find myself drawing or mixing music of all genres, currently, soft genres.

For a long time i were obsessed with the anime style and it's culture, and that brought me towards the Japanese culture itself. I ended up researching for all kinds of stuff, and I know more about Japan then ever.

Anyways, I started watching lauren fausts project "My little pony, friendship is magic" when it first aird on the hub.
I was shocked of how much i could find myself reminding of the funimation's anime pattern in the personalities of the mane6 (Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie pie, Rarity, Rainbow dash, and Twilight sparkle).

I got hooked and got more and more into the show and the animation style reminded me of Panty and stocking and ppgz (two animes i like)
The show started as a fad, a meme if you like, but everywhere you went, you met people who watched the show regualy, the comunity grew very big that way.

We got named Bronies (/b/ronies) because it all started on the 4chan board /b/, where some1 posted these ponies and people got curious.
However, its not just a nickname anymore. Bronies have become a subculture, a way of living the life, just like the otaku's.

Bronies are known to be honest, kind, generious, loyal, and most of all, happy.

And that is not a quinsidence, because these are the elements of the main characters of the show itself.
For that matter, bronies have a code: "Love and tolerate"

This simply means that by any uncomforting situation, they will tolerate whatever comes at them.
They don't Accept insults. They tolerate em.

Love, is made of the 6 elements of the show, and bronies show it very well.

(in the exeption of some rare episodes where even bronies get mad. The SaveDerpy could be an example, where bronies themselfs gets fustraited and starts throwing insults themselfs, even though its against their code.

I hope that was enough information about this subculture, have a great day!

Special thanks for my drawing techniques:

Mark crilley, for hiden yet important anatomy of the characters, Thanks mark crilley.

Sophiechan (from youtube best known as Sophie-chan) I thank you for the letting me know your secrets about hair, shading, highlighting and the use of SAI/photoshop. Also for your nice cheerish words:

"Just keep drawing, no matter how it looks, just keep drawing."

and also, a big thanks to the vocaloids for the music, when im listening to them, i feel free to draw anything.

My art and art favorites, mostly lays on the sad pictures and drawings. I prefare those.
This may sound wierd for most people, but when i draw "sad" or "unhappy" or just any kind of evil drawings, i feel better, like throwing the bad thoughts you have inside you, into your artwork instead.
